Acne Spot treatment with Witch Hazel

Still at the age of 42, acne is still a problem with me and I am tired of whiteheads and blackheads appearing all over my face. Witch Hazel is one of the best natural acne treatments. I have never used witch hazel before for acne, but I am going to start using it by creating a witch hazel acne spot treatment. Witch hazel contains tannins which are an astringent that can help control acne by reducing inflammation, and decreasing oil and redness.

Witch Hazel is a natural anti-inflammatory and antioxidant that can lessen bacteria growth within the skin pores and help to heal the acne scars and infections. Apparently it can prevent the development of whiteheads and blackheads and lesson the look of pores. I do have witch hazel as an ingredient in my coconut hydrating mist. I am using this spray daily as a hydrating/moisturizing mist on my face to seal in the moisture in my skin. Witch Hazel does not dry out the skin and works to seal in moisture, which is great when you have dry skin during the winter months. I will infuse essential herbs into the witch hazel and add acne fighting essential oils to the product. And then start using it and see if this product works.

As soon as I feel the product is good enough to fight acne, will I start manufacturing and sell on my website. I will keep you posted on the development.

Update:  Please see the before and after pictures after using the Witch Hazel Acne toner in 6 months.  I apply this in the morning without washing my face.
