Vitamin C and Magnesium for cellulite and healthy skin

Your skin is the largest organ and its cells are connected by collagen.  Collagen is formed by amino acids, vitamins, minerals and Vitamin C.  Deficiencies in certain vitamins can be a cause of cellulite, and ingesting vitamins and using products with these essential vitamins can help reduce cellulite.

Humans have lost their ability to synthesize Vitamin C and therefore we need to ingest Vitamin C and provide Vitamin C to our skin via a lotion/serum/body butter/oil etc. on a daily basis.  All Buttercup Skincare Cosmetics Firming products contain Vitamin C.   The Vitamin C is in the form of Amla, Haritaki, and Cayenne Pepper, which is infused in the sesame seed oil. Amla contains about 600mg of Vitamin C in every 100mg of Amla; this is 20 times more Vitamin C than oranges.

Magnesium is a mineral and deficiency can lead to nerve problems, low energy levels and depression.  So I take magnesium for my restless leg syndrome.  It has definitely helped me a lot and I do not experience RLS anymore.  But how does low levels of Magnesium affects the skin?

Low levels of magnesium will affect the elasticity of the skin as magnesium helps with the collagen synthesis process.  And this in affect will help with keeping the skin youthful and supple.   Haritaki, Licorice Root, Cayenne Pepper contains magnesium and is infused in the sesame seed oil.

Next Blog will discuss vitamin E and Vitamin A and other nutrients.
